Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li is now in post-production and it is getting a lot of praise from the Street Fighter fan base. Canadian and former Smallville star Kristin Kreuk (Lana Lang) will play Chun-Li - let’s hope she gets the kicks just right! There doesn’t seem to be a trailer out yet but we’ll have it as soon as it leaks. Sorry Van Damme, but this movie is expected to surpass the original since it focuses on one character instead of an onslaught of story lines. I expect Adlabs Films to make a franchise out of this and create more ‘Legend of’ movies for the other characters.
Stars:
Kristin Kreuk (Smallville) as Chun-Li
Michael Clarke Duncan (The Green Mile) as Balrog
Moon Bloodgood (Terminator Salvation) as Maya
Neal McDonough (Traitor) as M. Bison
Chris Klein (American Pie) as Nash
Taboo (Black Eyed Peas) as Vega
Robin Shou (Mortal Kombat) as Gen

November’s AHL Goalie of the Month goes to our very own Manitoba Moose goaltender, Cory Schneider.
Although he’s not in Manitoba right now (he’s been called up to play for the Canucks with Luongo injured) he has some pretty impressive stats with the Moose.
Overall in the AHL, Schneider is the top goalie, third in the league in save percentages, and also beat a Moose record with a 10-game winning streak.
Congratulations Cory!

chicken fingers! Originally uploaded by ticonderoga’s malevolent marsupial
For the past 3 summers, I was one of the many people in the city who worked downtown. Downtown was kind of a deadly place to work, only because I’d NEVER bring a lunch and ALWAYS go out to eat.
One of my favorite places to go eat?? Mitzi’s! They’re known for their homemade chicken fingers created by restaurant owner, Shirley Eng. Chicken fingers weren’t always on their menu. Mitzi’s used to be a Chinese food restaurant, but chicken fingers were added to the mix about 19 years ago.
My favorite thing to get at Mitizi’s? It most definitely has to be the chicken fingers and fries, with their homemade honey dill and coleslaw..SOO GOOD! Not a fan of the fries? Chicken fingers can also be served with fried rice, just in case you wanted to keep the “Chinese” in your meal.
A warning however! If you DO decide to sample these world famous chicken fingers, I suggest you hit the restaurant EARLY! Mitzi’s fills up FAST.
