We are starting to get a taste of the big cities with American Apparel opening up in Osborne early this year. They have a huge selection of the basic clothing along with many retro styles as well.

I hope the new store doesn’t encourage guys to start wearing hot pink spandex…

Hopefully we’ll be seeing more larger chains hit Winnipeg.

Winnipeg Obtains Official Guinness Record for Longest Ice Skating Trail ! Originally uploaded by AccessWinnipeg

Today the city of Winnipeg officially obtains another record today. Guiness World Records have announced that the Winnipeg has the longest naturally frozen Skating Trail, it measures at 8.54 kilometers exceeding the previous set record of 7½ kilometres set by Ottawa. However, Ottawa still claims to the largest/wider skating rink. Get your chance to skate on this trail before spring comes and takes this great record away.

Concert is going to be huge featuring Kanye West, Rhianna, Lupe Fiasco, and N.E.R.D.

I’m pretty disappointed with this late concert announcement since i already have tickets to the Saskatoon show!!! Looks like i might be going to both.

Walmart is currently clearing out their snow blowers. Tags and prices might not be adjusted yet, but just go ahead and scan them in for almost a 40% savings on all snowblowers!!

This Goldenboy Deal has been confirmed at the Regent Walmart. There are reports of a 8.5HP 24″ Cut Yard Pro for $534 - original sticker price at $897. Also a few $1300 snowblowers going for as low as $800.
