The Winnipeg Parking Authority has been testing out a pay by telephone feature for parking. They’ve decided to keep the service and they are giving us our first hour for free each time we use the service from now until April 11th.
Don’t get WPA mixed up with Impark. WPA operates MOST downtown street parking and parking meters. Impark has a few meters at Portage Place.

Which reminds me… I have a parking ticket from a couple years ago that I should really think about paying… Well.. Now that i’ve thought about paying it, i’ll wait a few more years I guess. Hah

My rule is, as long as the letters they keep sending me say “Please Pay The Following Amount”, and not “CBV Collections Services”, i’ll be alright, haha.
