A tornado was confirmed south of Niverville near Hwy. 59 between Otterburne and Kleefeld around 5pm. The tornado lasted about eight minutes and touched down in a farmer’s field.

I’d have to say my most favorite game of all time was Kriss Kross: Make my Video for Sega CD. It was a revolutionary game that incorporated a new generation of Hip Hop icons, with bleeding edge video game technology. Finally, a game that put us all where we always dreamed to be; in the directors seat of a music video who’s main stars wore backwards clothes, had mini dreds, and rapped about meaningful and relevant rhetoric, like missing the bus and never missing the bus again, warming up things, and the verb JUMP. Clearly a revolutionary game that will forever go down in history as one of the greats.

I finally got a chance to try the new Gatorade G-Force Slurpee that we had posted about before.

So far it comes in one flavor, orange. Only have one word to describe it… AMAZING.

Best flavor ever. Never thought I’d be so passionate about a flavor, must be the slurpee capital syndrome.

Well.. its the end of May and its raining. You know what that means.. NBA 3on3 Ballers Unite (aka Hoop It Up) is in town!

It would have been great for Access Winnipeg to get a team sponsored for this years tournament but due to time constraints it didn’t happen. So if you’re interested in a possible team sponsorship next year let us know!

If you’re not familiar, NBA 3on3 Ballers Unite (aka Hoop it Up) is a weekend long tournament held by the NBA in various cities throughout North America. It allows all the ‘ballerz’ out there in Winnipeg to showcase their talents and win great prizes. Unfortunately, registration is already closed and the tournament starts tomorrow.

For those who are registered, don’t forget to check-in today by 7pm at Basketball Manitoba Office, 200 Main St.

It should be a great time (if the rain stops) so make sure to check it out to join in on some of the great activities!

The Infamous Empire Cabaret is reborn tonight (I will spare you all the ridiculous ‘wear your bullet proof vest’ puns)

From the awesome patio, to the multi-level different atmospheres to choose from, Whiskey Dix hopes to take over where Empire left off. The top level has now been transformed to a SKYY BOX to be reserved for VIP personnel. I can also guarantee that security has been stepped up to ensure any replays of the incidents earlier this year.
