Not to be mistaken for Akon, Ai-Kon (Icon), Manitoba’s premiere anime (Japanese animation) convention, will take place at the Winnipeg Convention Centre from July 25 – 27.
Vendors from across Canada & the U.S. will be selling anime related merchandise. Cosplay (Attendees in costumes based on their favourite anime characters & walking around) Panels, Game Room, Artist Showcase, Contests & Prizes. Once you have your ticket, please proceed to the Registration Booth where you will pick up your entry badge & registration package. Click here for a detailed list of events.
The Weekend Pass will be valid from Fri.July 25/08 @ 3pm through to Sun.July 27/08 @ 4pm.
Purchase your ticket before June 30 and get an early bird rate: $34 for a weekend pass!
Recommended for ages 12+ but not restricted.
Children 8 & under admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult.
Day Passes will be available at the venue only each day of the show.

I was going to a wedding reception last year at the convention centre and there was like 1000 nerds dressed up as Naruto characters there, I guess that was this, with that being said can someone look for a Akira t-shirt for me, XL, thanks.
