I’m sad that the link pic is blurry. I made that costume! (I was up there as Advent Children Tifa, but no one ever recognised my costume except the other FF characters.)

The choir was the Winnipeg Prairie Singers.

I had a great time. Ulala was ridiculous! And having been an avid OST listener, it was quite the experience. My vantage point sucked balls however the acoustics in Centennial were crazy. Even my buddy Arjay thought that the MGS piece sounded like it was being played from a cd player. Anyways good times.

The show was absolutely incredible, I agree. Better than I’d expected, even. If they come back again, I’ll definitely be there again. Even my wife loved it!
Martin Leung was probably my favourite part of the show, but the Metroid and WC medleys were awesome too.

Although… I do have to say I was disappointed that the FF7 Aeris wasn’t in the finalists for the costume contest, her costume was much more complete and accurate than the Cloud one. Not knowing well what Ulala is supposed to look like, I can’t say which was more accurate… but I think personally Aeris had the overall best costume, even if Ulala’s was flashier and Master Chief’s was more showy(and obviously took the most effort).

The theme at the beginning of Metal Gear Solid where he’s swimming and that lady is singing would a be a dope track for them to do, and I never realized Winnipeg had hot girl nerds, sign me up.

That was a great show. It was fun seeing the people dressed up in costumes and all the people wearing video game related t-shirts.
