Manitoba Liquor Law Changes Today

A few changes have been made to the Manitoba Liquor Law.
As of today, sharing an alcoholic beverage with your teenager, or buying 2 drinks from the bartender at one time is legal.
Some of the more important changes have to do with safety at bars and clubs from violence. One change includes a 60-minute vacating clause for cabarets, meaning everyone has one hour to vacate the premises after alcohol has stopped being served.
There is also a possibility that club and lounge hours could be extended. I don’t know if this is exactly a good thing or a bad thing, but for me personally, by 2am I’m ready to go to bed. =P
The changes also include up to $20,000 fine penalties for bars that violate the rules or supply liquor to minors.

I don’t think it was ever legal to get for teens. but i think you we’re allowed a MAX 2 drinks per round? (at least that’s what the TYC bartenders always told me)
The key part of the new laws is the bigger $20,000 fine if you are caught instead of the small slap on the wrist.

thats so retarded we used to go up and order drinks for ourselves and the other buddies, now your entourage and yourself need to wait in line together to get a drink.
