Bike Lane on Hargrave

Written By Stacey

Bike lane placement Originally uploaded by richardmasoner

On my ride into work this morning, I noticed new lines painted on Hargrave Ave. Looking over on the right side of the street, to my surprise — was a brand new DEDICATED bike lane. It starts at Broadway and turns into a sharrow at Graham, ending at Portage.

Does anyone have more information on this? Is this an outcome of the Bike to the Future forum the mayor attended? Can we expect more dedicated lanes in the future? Hopefully we can, I don’t want to die.

The diamonds and bike dudes are already worn off on Hargrave. Didn’t we learn the first time?

hahaha….your silly question implies the city is smart about things. I saw the “No Parking Signs” go up yesterday for street cleaning. If I get home and they’re still up……..GRRRRR
