4 bucks a day?

I pay $600 some for my car loan, $150 for insurance, $300+ on gas not to mention repairs, wear and tear, etc equals over $1000 per month.

Bus riders are paying $120 or so for riding the bus. Quit complaining.

I remember my mom taking me with her to Eatons place when i was a kid and bus fair was only 79 cents. But 2 dollars now? wow that is huge. That’s more than 4 bucks a day if you take the bus twice a day.

I’ve been hearing a lot of people complaining over the proposed raise in transit fare. It’s not that big of a deal if you figure it out.

Let’s take 5 cents and assume a rider goes to and from work on an average weekday. That’s a 10 cent increase per day, 50 cents a week and only $26 a year — which one would barely even notice.

Why can’t we have fares based on Zones?

I don’t want to pay so much to take the bus 8 stops. Why can’t we start acting like major cities. *sigh*
