I luv Wi-Fi Originally uploaded by capitrueno

Studying at your local Winnipeg libraries just might get a little easier (or a little more distracting – however you want to put it)

Councilor Dan Vandal wants to make wireless internet free at libraries and the Pan Am Pool (Because EVERYONE wants to bring their laptop in the pool!)

The city launched its WiFi program just over a year ago but people have been very hesitant to use it since it costs $3-$5 a hour. Vandal states that since people can already get WiFi free everywhere else, such as coffee shops, then why not at public libraries? Whatever the cost is, the city should be able to absorb it.

Would you use our Public Libraries more if they had free WiFi?
