Call 311 For Non-Emergency Issues

Written By Ken

The city is launching a new 311 line to help reduce 911 traffic for non-emergency issues.

The line is expected to be active in late January and can be used for non-emergency issues and concerns such as inquiring about a stolen vehicle – or if your neighbor is playing music too loud.

We’ll keep you posted on the exact launch date of 311.

After doing some more reading on this, it will be a line for inquiries on city services, such as garbage pick up, snow route information, reporting burnt out street lights etc. The non-emergency police line is still the same old 986-6222 and won’t change.
