If you are mailing by Canada Post today, you may be surprised that the rates have gone up.
The cost of mailing a first-class letter within Canada is now 54 cents from 52 cents. Letters to the United States are now 98 cents from 96 cents. Letters to all other foreign countries are $1.65 from $1.60.
eBay sellers are also going to be shocked to hear that parcel rates have gone up 100%!
Packages weighing between 200 grams and 500 grams will jump to $5.50 from $2.25.
