So unless there’s some sort of mass miscommunication, it looks like Winnipeg will be opening an Apple store very shortly.
This is something we have been following for a long time and it looks like we can finally confirm 100% that an Apple Store will be opening at Polo Park shopping centre.
Though there still hasn’t been any official announcement from Apple or Polo Park, the photo above states otherwise.
For you MACophiles, rejoice!

Who confirmed the store? I talked to an Apple spokesperson last week who told me they would not confirm/deny any future retail developments. Although with the recent job postings on numerous websites for available positions, it’s pretty clear the store is a likely possibility. Just haven’t seen it definitely confirmed anywhere yet.

Hahaha who needs an Apple Rep to confirm it. There’s a 10 foot Apple logo right on the wall.

Well, the picture above is from this afternoon when I was at Polo Park. Seems like a pretty expensive decoy if it’s not a real Apple Store.

The Apple store is set to open either this coming Saturday, or the following Saturday. But who knows, Apple can push the date as far back as it would like. But it will open on a Saturday.
.. I work at Polo, so I’m not making this up, btw.
