Contrary to my last post, it looks like NBA 3on3 WILL be returning to Winnipeg with a 18+ 3on3 tournament this summer. It will most likely be after the Red River Ex – so make sure you don’t slip on some left over popcorn!
It has been renamed again to NBA Jam Session (formerly Ballers Unite, formerly Hoop it Up) and there are a lot of changes to the program.
Events Include:
– Appearances by NBA players, Legends, dancers, and mascots
– Performance by a player from the world famous Harlem Globetrotters
– Opportunities for a FREE photo with the Larry O’Brien NBA Championship trophy
– Participate in a real NBA basketball clinic
– Train like a NBA player in the NBA Fit Clinic
– Participate in a dance clinic with real NBA dancers
– Measure Up to your favourite NBA Players
– Collect autographs from NBA personalities
– Check out the sights and sounds of NBA All Star Saturday Night featuring a skills competition, a dunk contest and 3 point shoot out
– VIP party with NBA Jam Session talent
– Play the latest video games
– Participate in a 18+ 3on3 competition
– Free giveaways
Winnipeg basketball fans rejoice! This is going to be a great event. More info regarding dates and locations will be released in June.
