Canadian sensation Justin Bieber will be making thousands of Winnipeg teenage hearts melt at MTS Centre on Tuesday, September 14, 2010. Watch out Drake, this just became the concert of the year.
Justin, a regular kid from Stratford, Ontario, Canada came to fame on YouTube. His performances on YouTube were seen by Scooter Braun, who later became his manager. Braun arranged for him to meet with Usher in Atlanta, Georgia, and Bieber was soon signed to Raymond Braun Media Group (RBMG), a joint venture between Braun and Usher, and then to a recording contract with Island Records offered by L.A. Reid.
He is now one if the biggest artists in the world. His fans are compared to the die hard fans of Michael Jackson – pushing, crying, and fainting upon sight of the teenage superstar.
$1.00 from each ticket sold will be donated to Pencils of Promise, a charity which works to build schools and increase educational opportunities in the developing world. Justin’s goal is to build 15 schools around the world for needy children.
Presale packages will be available while supplies last through a special presale starting Wednesday, June 9 at Noon; public on-sale will begin on Friday, June 11. Individual presale tickets and three VIP ticketing packages will be available for fans during the presale time.
