A reminder that Virginia Beach, Virginia-based hip hop duo Clipse will be performing at The Pyramid Cabaret tonight.
The group consists of brothers Malice (Gene Thornton) and Pusha T (Terrence Thornton) and are highly affiliated with Pharrell Williams and The Neptunes.
They broke out with their album Lord Willin’ which brought out some of the greatest club hits including Grindin and When The Last Time.
John Smith and Charlie Fettah are your hosts for the evening. Tickets are $25 and available at The Urban Bakery (TUB).

Apparently we showed Iron Maiden that Winnipeg can rock! They will be returning to MTS Centre on Wednesday, June 30, 2010. The show takes place the night before Canada Day, so it is going to be one crazy party.
The Final Frontier 2010 North American Tour that will promote their new album titled by the same name. The Final Frontier is expected to be released late Summer 2010. They are touring with special guests Dream Theatre but unfortunately they will not be able to make it to the Winnipeg show. It is the only show on the tour Dream Theater isn’t performing at. Iron Maiden was last in Winnipeg on June 9, 2008.
Tickets go on sale Saturday, March 13.

Toronto R&B singer Jully Black has cancelled her show at The Garrick Centre tonight. She also cancelled her whole Canadian Tour.
You may remember Jully from her 1998 hit Rally’n with Saukrates. Let’s hope they reschedule.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers will be performing at MTS Centre on June 19, 2010.
Tom Petty was last in Winnipeg on August 9, 2008. Fans who buy tickets online will immediately get two free downloads from the album, and will also be emailed a link to download the whole album on release day. To make it even better, when the band’s tour wraps up, they will receive live recordings from previous shows.
