Shoppers who visit Portage Place are being encouraged to buckle down and do their research – about the latest fall fashions, that is. Customers who spend $75 or more at any Portage Place tenant can sign up for a free Roger’s magazine subscription of their choice.

Shoppers will have over 100 shops and services to choose from when doing their back to school shopping and fall wardrobe upgrades at Portage Place. By bringing their same-day receipts totaling $75 to Portage Place Customer Service, they can qualify for a free magazine subscription of their choice from a selection of Roger’s titles including:

* Canadian Busines
* Chatelaine
* Flare
* LOU LOU
* Maclean’s
* MoneySense
* Today’s Parent

Not only will customers walk away with a free magazine subscription, they’ll also have the chance to win a $500 shopping spree to grab those last minute items and must-have purchases before fall gets into full swing. Everyone that participates in the Study Style magazine promotion will be entered in a draw, and one lucky winner will walk away with $500 in Portage Place gift cards.

Shoppers are welcome to come back daily to sign up for another subscription with each minimum purchase, plus they’ll earn another entry into the grand prize draw.

A video tour of the new Spareparts Winnipeg store in St. Vital Polo Park Mall. I got a chance to take a quick glance inside this store and was very impressed.

Think of it as “if your car gets parts at PartSource, you get parts at Spareparts”.

At one point in time during the Olympics, these Team Canada Hoodies were sold out all across Canada. There were so in demand that they were being resold on eBay for over $200. Stock from all over Canada was actually pulled to be shipped to Vancouver since the HBC Olympic store had empty shelves. People would line up outside of Bay stores every morning to try and purchase daily stock.

That no longer is the case. HBC (The Bay/Zellers) have mass reproduced the famous Olympic gear we all saw on TV earlier this year and are now available at Winnipeg Bay and Zellers locations.

I purchased a couple hoodies for $50 each and they are amazing. Good luck with your hunt. I’m still looking for this jacket, let me know if you see any!
