It’s about time Jewel returned to the music scene. Here is her performance of Shape of You at the 2010 Emmy Awards. She performs during the tribute to actors and actresses who have recently passed away.
“There’s a hole in my heart in the shape of you.” If that doesn’t hit you then you’re not human.
Season 2 of Shaq Vs. is currently underway on ABC. If you’re not familiar with Shaq Vs., it’s when NBA All-Star/Champion Shaquille O’Neal (Shaq) challenges other superstar athletes at their own sport.
Season 1 was tons of fun to watch… but it seems like season 2 is a lot of the same thing… which is Shaq losing horribly to every athlete he goes up against.
But still, I can’t take my eyes off the TV and I seem to want to watch it whenever it’s on. As much as I hate to admit it, this guy is very entertaining to watch. Here is Shaq Vs. Tyson Gay (fastest man in America).
Season 2 Episodes so far:
2.01 “Shaq vs. Dale Earnhardt Jr.”
2.02 “Shaq vs. Shane Mosley; Shaq vs. Penn and Teller”
2.03 “Shaq vs. Rachael Ray; Shaq vs. Tyson Gay”
2.04 “Shaq vs. Charles Barkley; Shaq vs. Competitive Eating”
2.05 “Shaq vs. Justin Bieber; Shaq vs. Jimmy Kimmel”
I’d like to see a finale of Shaq vs. Kobe… now that would make GOOD TV!
My favourite new show this season, Modern Family, will be hitting Blu-ray and DVD September 21, 2010.
If you haven’t seen this show yet, watch a SINGLE episode and you will be hooked. It’s one of the greatest shows on TV right now and I guarantee you tons of laughs.
Future Shop and Best Buy have started taking preorders for the Blu-ray and it looks like theres a price error. You can preorder the Blu-ray for only $19.99! Well worth the price to get some HD laughs.
Shipping is $10… BUT shipping is free for orders over $39. What you can do is order 2 and split with a friend… OR, order 2 and return one to the store when you have received them. (You can return online orders to a store for no charge)
Jeopardy is a bit late on this since auto-tune is dead, but check out this awesome Jeopardy category where Alex would sing a song with auto-tune, and contestants need to guess the name.
Jeopardy is still the best game show ever. Nothing is better than that slight feeling of genius after you finally get a question correct.
The 2010 BET Awards which aired on Saturday was another compilation of amazing performances as usual. Chris Brown stole the show with one of the most amazing Michael Jackson Tributes I’ve ever seen. Ever after all the mistakes this guy has done, there is no doubt that this kid has talent. He would eventually break down and cry, coincidentally during his performance of Man In The Mirror.
More videos after the jump including Kanye West’s amazing performance of Power. He’s back as well!!
That commercial is completely unrelated to the offer from Rogers. However since the commercial where two office workers think they covertly stream the World Cup to their cubicle plays on every commercial break during games, I thought people might enjoy something different.
While their commercials might become stale, the Rogers on Demand Online service can actually be useful for World Cup die-hards. Fans can get their FIFA fix on-the-go with the Rogers on Demand Mobile application that lets users live-stream every game on their smartphone, as well as get recaps and highlights after the whistle for a one-time fee of $10. Costing $5 a month to use, the app is available on Android, BlackBerry and iPhone devices. There’s also a handful of additional apps for free or $2.99 that give you extras like game reminders and live scores and news tickers.
For more information on Rogers on Demand Online, Rogers on Demand Mobile and the Fan Frenzy app head to the Rogers on Demand website.
